Encapsulate your opponent's stones completely to remove them from the board. Dominate more area than your opponent by the end of the game to triumph. Employ planning to prevent your opponent's moves while expanding your own territory. Keep in mind that stones are fixed once placed, unless taken. Play concludes when both players forgo their turns consecutively, indicating no more moves can benefit either side.
